RHINOPLASTY

This work is all about concentration and love. There will be no success if you don’t feel excited in every surgery as if you are doing it for the first time. That’s why I usually come to the hospital before the patient out of excitement. I focus on the surgery I will perform days in advance. This is what tires me the most. But the aftermath is an indescribable happiness.
Nose aesthetics (Rhinoplasty) is one of the most frequently performed aesthetic surgeries today. The nose is one of the most important structures of the facial aesthetic anatomy and is applied to patients who are unhappy with its aesthetic appearance and want to correct it. It is also preferred for the repair of nasal damage caused by various reasons such as accidents or cancer.
Some patients, when they have surgery due to nasal congestion (deviation), also want their nose to be aesthetically corrected. The nose is an important organ that determines facial expression and meaning. For this reason, in many rhinoplasty surgeries, both the shape of the nose is corrected and functional disorders are eliminated.
The ideal age range for patients who want to have rhinoplasty is usually 16-18, as the development of the nasal bone is 90% complete at these ages. Along with rhinoplasty surgeries, chin tip aesthetics can also be planned to improve facial symmetry and profile. In patients with a receding chin tip, advancement or prosthesis addition can be performed, and in those with an advanced chin tip, the chin tip can be retracted.
Rhinoplasty surgery (Rhinoplasty) is performed after the development of facial bones is completed, that is, after the age of 16 in girls and 17 in boys in adolescence. Along with the aesthetic surgical intervention, breathing problems, if any, are also corrected.
During the pre-rhinoplasty consultation, the patient’s post-operative appearance is determined with the help of a computer and this is aimed as much as possible.
Suitable Candidates for Rhinoplasty Surgery:
- Those who have aesthetic concerns about the shape of their nose
- Those who have nasal trauma or congenital deformities
- Those who experience breathing problems
- Those who want to improve their facial aesthetics
Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that provides both aesthetic and functional benefits. For this reason, a detailed pre-operative evaluation and planning by an expert surgeon are of great importance.
