Dr. Battal entered Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and graduated in October 1986.

Dr. Battal started his General Surgery residency in 1987 by winning the assistantship exam opened by the same faculty’s Department of General Surgery. During his residency, he worked as a research fellow for 6 months in 1990 at the Nevada University General Surgery Clinic in the USA.

In 1995, Dr. Battal went to Japan to specialize in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by winning the MONBUSHO scholarship of the Japanese Ministry of Health and Education. Dr. Battal completed his residency at Kagawa Medical University Plastic Surgery Department in 3 years and returned to Turkey.

Dr. Battal is currently working as a freelance plastic and aesthetic surgeon.
