This surgery is in high demand by men as well as women.<\/p>\n<p>Having the following characteristics indicates that you are a suitable candidate for surgery:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excess skin covering the natural line of the upper eyelids<\/li>\n<li>Sagging of the upper eyelid skin to the extent that it even prevents vision<\/li>\n<li>Bagging and wrinkles in the lower eyelid<\/li>\n<li>Rings and bruises under the eyes<\/li>\n<li>Sagging of the lower eyelid enough to show the white of the eye below the iris.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In young people, this surgery (eyelid aesthetics) is usually applied only to remove the fat tissue under the eyelid. In more advanced ages, more skin can be removed as the skin has lost its frequency.<\/p>\n<h3>Upper Lid<\/h3>\n<p>Sagging skin is more common in the upper eyelid. This excess skin, due to its weight, causes the lash line to be positioned below, impairing the patient&#8217;s vision quality and field of vision. The person is not aware of this because they are accustomed to it, but it causes them to look frowning and causes unprovoked headaches. In addition, the correction of low and low-lying eyebrows with the &#8220;Eyebrow Lifting and Forehead Stretching&#8221; method can also be done as needed.<\/p>\n<h3>Lower Lid<\/h3>\n<p>Fat bags protruding from the eye socket cause bagging and purple, black rings under the eye. This gives the face a tired and aged expression. If it occurs in young people, it is genetic, if it occurs in old people, it is a part of aging. By removing these fats with the help of Laser or pushing them back into place, the person&#8217;s tired and aged appearance is corrected and a dynamic and youthful appearance is gained.<\/p>\n<h3>Under-Eye Bags and Eyelid Surgery<\/h3>\n<p><b>Surgery Process<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The upper and lower lids can be done together or separately depending on the patient&#8217;s needs. There are two problems, sagging fats that cause the bag and sagging skin and tissues. In eyelid surgeries performed under general or local anesthesia, in addition to removing excess skin sagging and bags under the eyes, sagging muscles can also be corrected.<\/p>\n<p>This surgery, which can be performed in the office or hospital, takes 1-2 hours, sometimes longer, depending on its scope. Some of the fat masses are removed from the lower and upper eyelids. The incisions in the upper eyelid are opened by following the natural lines and curves and are usually extended to the outer edge of the eye to the eye tail. In the lower eyelid, incisions are usually opened at the lash bottoms and can be extended to the eye tail. The surgeon works along the incision, separating the skin from the underlying tissue and muscle, and the exposed excess muscle and skin are removed. If the fats that cause bagging are excessive, some of them are taken and the rest are spread over the bone under the eye to correct the ringed appearance. The incisions are closed with stitches.<\/p>\n<p><b>Return to Normal After Surgery<\/b><\/p>\n<p>After the surgery, a dressing is made with a damp gauze. There may be some sensitivity and discomfort after the surgery. If a mild pain is felt, painkillers can be taken for a few days after the surgery. Eye bath is not done, as the eyelid skin is thin, it can swell and bruise quickly after the surgery.<\/p>\n<p>It is recommended that you sleep on a high pillow and apply cold compresses to your eyes to prevent swelling and bruising. Swelling and bruising subside in the first week. The color change that occurs in the eyelid can be covered with light makeup. After the surgery, tear secretion may increase for a short time and there may be sensitivity to bright light. You can get up the day after the surgery, but your surgeon will recommend a suitable program for you to start your daily life again, depending on your healing rate and yourself when you will return to work. In order to recover in a short time, you should avoid excessive movement and bending over for 2-3 weeks. During this time, it is useful to protect your eyes from wind and sun with colored glasses. The scar becomes difficult to notice within 6-8 months.<\/p>\n<p>It is usually done under local anesthesia and with the help of CO2 Laser, without bleeding and pain. Then the patient goes home comfortably, there is no significant pain. The stitches are taken within 3-5 days. The patient can return to his daily life within 3-4 days.
