It is the surgery performed in cases where sometimes small interventions are made, and sometimes a complete nose surgery is required again.<\/p>\n<p>The most common reason in nose correction surgeries is; that most of these people cannot achieve the ideal nose after the first surgery in rhinoplasty. Although not frequent, there may be minor flaws after some rhinoplasty surgeries. The important thing here is how much this flaw is and to what extent it bothers the person. Indistinct flaws or slightly more can be corrected with some tiny interventions. For this reason, it is most accurate to divide secondary nose surgeries within the scope of rhinoplasty into two.<\/p>\n<h3>Nose Correction Intervention for Minimal Flaws<\/h3>\n<p>Those that fall into this group of rhinoplasty can be corrected with small interventions under local anesthesia, which are usually not given much importance by patients and do not bother the patient too much. Correction is very easy and can often be applied with local anesthesia without even the need for general anesthesia.<\/p>\n<h3>Secondary (secondary) Nose Surgery in Rhinoplasty<\/h3>\n<p>In those who fall into this group in rhinoplasty surgery, there is serious deformation. In the previous rhinoplasty surgery, often the nasal bone was taken too much or too little by the surgeon, the cartilages were taken too much or too little, the cartilages were not shaped well, and serious asymmetrical deformities may have remained. Sometimes the patient may have been operated on 2, 3 or even 4, 5 times by various surgeons before. It is very difficult to get good results in some noses. However, every surgeon can make mistakes and have unwanted results. The important thing is to minimize these and to give the patient the best possible. However, here again, the most important factor is the surgeon&#8217;s experience and skill.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, these patients were not satisfied with the entire first rhinoplasty surgery. The surgery performed seriously affects the aesthetic structure of the face. In addition, the nose is the most important respiratory organ, and functional disorders in the organ that serves as a door seriously affect the patient&#8217;s ability to breathe comfortably. For this reason, secondary nose surgery can sometimes be applied to patients to open the respiratory tract.<\/p>\n<p>Secondary nose surgery is applied to patients with these types of complaints. These patients often need new ones for repair because their bones and cartilages are taken too much or deformed. This procedure is called grafting, and it is often taken from the ear cartilage or, if too much is needed, from the rib cartilage. The cartilages taken from these areas are used as building material to rebuild and shape the nasal structure.<\/p>\n<p>In modern rhinoplasty surgeries, it is no longer like the old days to remove cartilage and bones to a large extent, to shrink the nose too much. Now, the aim is to support the nasal structures, to strengthen the nasal structures by using the cartilages from the patient&#8217;s own nose again, and to prevent the occurrence of deformations such as collapse and drooping. The tiny, unnatural noses that look like ski slopes pointing to the sky, which our old teachers made, have now been completely abandoned. In aesthetic nose surgery, the aim is for the nose to fit the face, to look natural, and even, if possible, not to be obvious that it has been operated on.<\/p>\n<h3>Rhinoplasty and Turkish Nose<\/h3>\n<p>The Turkish nose is different from all noses in the world and is the most difficult nose to make. For this reason, there is a serious deformation and disorder in Turks who have rhinoplasty surgery abroad, and many secondary nose surgery cases come from Europe, where there are many Turks.<\/p>\n<h3>Surgical Treatment<\/h3>\n<p>It is necessary to apply surgical treatment to patients who have had rhinoplasty and are not satisfied with its shape or functions. This surgery is re-programmed just like rhinoplasty surgery, what will be done, that is, what is missing from the previous surgery, deformed structures are determined and these are repaired. Secondary nose surgeries should be performed in experienced hands and with great care so as not to give rise to an error again.<\/p>\n<p>For re-repair, if possible, if the patient has a septum remaining from the previous surgery or untouched in the nose, it can be used to complete the missing cartilages. If the cartilage tissue is not sufficient, if a small amount of cartilage is needed, it is taken from the auricle, and if a larger repair is required, a portion is taken from the cartilages in the ribs, and these new cartilage tissues are reshaped according to the need and used to complete the missing parts in the nose.<\/p>\n<p>For secondary nose surgeries, it is necessary to wait at least one year after the first surgery, and two years for third or fourth surgeries. Interventions to be made earlier than this time take a little longer than normal nose surgeries. Healing is a little slower.<\/p>\n<p>Smoking should be stopped completely. Blood circulation must be very good for the nourishment of the placed cartilages, and since the nicotine in cigarettes narrows the vessels, it negatively affects blood circulation considerably.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
