In addition, the muscles located here are also deformed and sag downward by loosening, which is called a turkey neck appearance. This is not a pleasant situation.<\/p>\n<h3>What is Neck Aesthetics?<\/h3>\n<p>Neck lift aesthetics aims to provide a more aesthetic appearance to the neck, to improve its contours, to ensure the recovery of sagging skin and muscles, to reduce wrinkles, and to provide a younger and better appearance by removing excess fat. It causes the person to look old and tired, and also causes them to look fatter than they are if there is excessive fat. In some patients, although there is no body fatness, the neck and jowl area may be excessively fatty. This causes the patient to appear more overweight than they are, and even appear older than their age.<\/p>\n<p>It is possible to get rid of this situation with an easy operation called neck lift (jowl lift) or, in medical terms, necklift, cervicoplasty.<\/p>\n<h3>Who Can Benefit from Neck and Jowl Aesthetics?<\/h3>\n<p>It is more accurate to classify neck and jowl sagging according to age groups. Of course, for this, the skin elasticity must be good, that is, the patient must be especially young.<\/p>\n<p>If sagging is accompanied by skin and muscles, which usually occurs in advanced ages. In this case, it is necessary to both remove the fats, collect the muscles, and tighten the excess skin.<\/p>\n<p>In cases where the tip of the chin is small, an incredibly good image is obtained with a small prosthesis to be placed on the tip of the chin. Both the jowl and neck are tightened, and since the chin projection increases, it also provides improvement in facial aesthetics. This method, which is frequently used in profileplasty, that is, profile correction surgeries by performing both nose surgery and intervention to the tip of the chin, is effective in jowl and neck aesthetics, and sometimes even in lower face lift. In other words, it contributes to both the jowl and the facial aesthetic structure.<\/p>\n<p>Surgical intervention is frequently performed by entering from the naturally occurring line under the tip of the chin and behind the ear. Sometimes, the method called neck sling alone is sufficient. However, all interventions vary from patient to patient. In other words, these procedures are planned boutique. The procedure is performed according to the person&#8217;s needs.<\/p>\n<p>It is possible to reduce the lines extending towards the side in the neck with fine fat injections and collagen injections. Sometimes, botox applications to these areas can give positive results in the elimination of the formed bands. We prefer to apply these types of botox and injection procedures to the necks of younger people. It is more correct to perform a tightening procedure on older people. Neck tightening is frequently performed in combination with face lift surgeries. In lower face lift procedures, sagging in the neck is also corrected. After the fats are removed, the muscles are tightened and excess skin is removed. The stitches usually dissolve on their own.<\/p>\n<p>It is possible to perform the tightening procedure with local or general anesthesia. It is an easy and painless procedure lasting 30-60 minutes.
