Many patients seek the solution in having their nails removed, but a permanent result can be obtained with laser. Incorrect use of shoes, incorrect cutting of nails, or genetic deterioration and deformation of the nail bed disrupt the way the nail grows, causing the nail to sink into the soft tissue and cause the patient to experience severe pain, and even lead to serious illnesses as a result of inflammation. On the other hand, the distorted nail shape negatively affects the aesthetic appearance of women and causes them to experience problems while wearing slippers or shoes.<\/p>\n<p>Patients who do not care about this problem on the nail try to treat themselves or apply to foot health centers or even pedicurists. As a result, they are temporarily treated with methods such as nail removal or cutting and removal of the ingrown part. Ingrown toenail recurs in patients unless the deformation in the nail bed, which is the main cause of ingrown toenail, is eliminated.<\/p>\n<p>Now, in parallel with the development of technology, the existing deformation is eliminated with bed plasty applied to the nail bed. In other words, ingrown toenail can be repaired with laser, and in this application performed under local anesthesia, the nail bed is reshaped using a Carbon Dioxide laser. The laser, which can easily cut and shape the nail bed, also prevents bleeding and helps the wound heal faster. By correcting the deformed nail bed with laser, it ensures both that the nail grows properly and that it does not become ingrown again.
